Advertisements

Here is a good news that I got late. Blogger has updated it's post editor. New post editor has some new useful features. It added some new buttons like undo, redo, text background color, strikethrough and and jump break. Also you get new post options. Look at the following screen shot.

Some Features:

  1. Improved Image Handling
  2. Easily resize or remove an image
  3. Improved Raw HTML
  4. Add your location to your posts with geotagging
  5. Full Safari 3 support on both Windows and Macintosh.

Switch to New Post Editor for Blogger.

Go to Blogger Dashboard >> Settings >> Basic. Scroll down and look for Select post editor. Select Updated editor and save settings. Now all your blogs will have this new post editor.

When I tried to use the "read more" tool on post editor my widgets on the right side were bumped to below my post. Any fix for this?

Give your site URL.

Here it is:

just a side note, I had used your 3 column footer hack and it didn't work with that either. Does it have to do, maybe with cloud hack I used?

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Also, I changed stopped using the "read more" because it messed up the side bar. Do you need to see it "messed up"?

You are using the theme/template given by blogger. If this is the case then do not add code given in last step. You may need to change entire template. First try read more on another blog.

I took out the code like you said and tried it on a test blog, same template and it worked fine(ablogbyjg.blogspot.com). Then I took out the code on politicalthoughtsnow.com and it still bumped the right side widgets below and to the right of the posts. Then below that was the 3 column footer.

I am a novice so any help is appreciated.

I also looking to just changing templates maybe.
